Juice Treatment Tanks to be used in the clarification, sterilization and cooling of sugarcane juice. They meet the following general specifications:
Material: Stainless-Steel for the internal process tank, stainless- steel for the outer jacket.
Capacity: 500 litters (used capacity ±90%; 450liters).
Tank to be supplied with the following components: a liquid level transmitter, a temperature and a pressure gauge.
This tank is a double wall Jacketed vessel (Combination of heating and cooling properties).
Tank height: ±2200mm, thickness of external tank: 2.0mm; elliptical bottom.
This tank has a removable top cover with an access lid (flanged with 4 to 6 TC Ports on cover surface with Swing Away Bolts); the sealing gasket for the lid is made of material that is highly heat resistant and long lasting (such as Silicone, Viton, Buna N, PFA Encapsulated Viton, EPDM).
This is a pressurized tank with port options including drain port (dimension: to be determined by the manufacturer) for easy cleaning, irradiated 3D custom tank liners, internal tank surfaces < 16 RA (Roughness Average), operating pressure (with top closure): up to 8.5Bar; operating temperature: up to 120°C.
The outer jacket meet the following specifications: exterior finish (electro- Polished) < 20 RA; connection ports made of Stainless Steel, Connections’ dimensions: to be determined by the manufacturer; Baffle Materials made of stainless Steel 304; Jacket Pressure up to 5.1 Bar; Operating Temperature up to 120ºC.
Heat transfer media: Hot water and raw cold water respectively for heating and cooling operations. Tank to have a connector directly to the hot water/Steam Generator line and to the cooling water tank line.
Heat transfer area: to be defined by the manufacturer; Stainless Steel baffles to be welded on the outer surface of the main vessel for uniform circulation of heating or cooling media and to provide extra strength to the main vessel.
Core components: Vertical mixer/agitator (explosion proof and energy efficient direct drive design for the agitator, with Variable Frequency Drive option to vary the RPM of the drive; agitator design must suit the sugarcane juice and lime milk viscosity and density), positive displacement pump with motor for solution transfer to the vibrating sieve/screener with all its spares and accessories (impellers, bearings, shaft sealings) as well as the needed stainless-steel pipes and fittings. All these is heat resistant.
Humanized structure design and easy to operate (Batch Operation).
An integrated structural spot/connection (preferably at the top) to be connected to a water line (feed valve included), useful in water addition process and to the lime milk dosing line for the purpose of clarifying the sugarcane juice. Correct sealing to be ensured so that no heat is lost through these spots.
Heating Method: Hot water to be run in and out through the outer jacket via the jacket filling ports through a direct steam injection system using an internal modulation type.
Cooling Method: the cooling of the juice is achieved by circulating cold water in and out through the outer jacket via the jacket filling ports.
Lid able to open from the top, a discharging hole/drain at the bottom, sampling cock in the middle, tank structure certification/confirmation for strict leakage tests.
All other useful accessories (Vacuum breaker, air vent, all valves linked to the steam generator/hot water, raw water tank, and their gaskets, etc.) with their respective spares.
Stainless steel pipes required for sugarcane juice transfer. They must comply with the Pipe Color Code Standards.
